Mackmyra is a Swedish whisky distillery that uses a special, climate friendly method: the force of gravity.
It is the world’s most climate-smart distillery. Standing 35m tall, it has 8 floors and gravity powers the entire process from each floor to the next. To heat the hot water for the distillery they use pellets from Scandbio.
