I was director/DP on the first half of this film. The aim was to capture how the rough Swedish climate has shaped Jonsereds' power tools. The problem was, on the day of filming the weather was anything but rough. A regular, bland winter day in the south of Sweden.
We wanted it to feel cold and dark, and we really had to struggle to make that happen. Using a fog machine and lights, we were able to get the forest to look darker. We also had an unused drone shot from a previous project that helped sell the illusion.
